Desperation, Thy Name Is Grasping

So I’m pretty desperate to obtain any job that will pay real money that can solve the ever illusive bill problem.  Michigan’s job market sucks.  The employers that are hiring are picky because there are so many unemployed people desperate for a job.  They can create any terms they want in the hiring process.  People with Master’s Degrees, and a million years of experience in any number of fields are unemployed, and either they are getting the jobs, or they can’t get a job at all because over-qualification means an employer feels they have to pay you too much money. 

The people who don’t have a degree and little experience are the ones that are really doomed.  Auto workers at least have some sort of skill and experience. 

I, on the other hand, have no substantial experience in any one thing, and you can’t prove how willing and able you are to learn things.  *sigh*

So, in my little bout of desperation, I am going to make a resume page.  I will take just about any monkey work you’ve got (within reason).  I write, I draw, I can do simple HTML, and I have so much cash handling experience I can count money in a coma.  My average WPM is around 70, and I have the Microsoft Office Suite pounded so hard into my head that I could practically reprogram Word.  (not really, but I’ve seen every single version of the Suite since Works was a big deal)

And if you try to give me links to those stupid work at home for just $100!  I’m going to laugh in your face because I don’t have $100, and if I did, I would pay part of my car payment that is two months behind, not spend it on a make some asshole rich scam. 

(Sorry, I’m just a little bitter about those, heh)
