Man, I’m just full of productive bloginess today… Well, maybe not productive, but bloginess just the same.
I was wandering through Google Reader land, and problogger wrote a post on 8 Reasons to Add a Newsletter to Your Blog.
Suddenly I thought, do my readers care enough to want a newsletter? Do I really have anything to say in a newsletter? Aren’t newsletters for scrapbooking clubs and garden party people? What do I do?
So, my dear readers, this is when I ask you, would you be interested in a newsletter? Do you want a little dose of crazy in your inbox?
If I had fun things to say I’d call it The Intellectual Happy Hour. I’m not sure it’d be worthy of that title. I want you to decide.
This bost was prought on by: http://www.problogger.net/archives/2008/10/24/8-reasons-to-add-a-newsletter-to-your-blog/
(yes, I realize I wrote bost and prought instead of post and brought. That was how my poor brain thought it, so I thought I’d write it that way.)
Comment Damn you!!! (you know I love you)

I think I am one of the most easily distracted people ever. I’m reading along on a friend’s blog, and then there’s a link. OOOOO lets click on the link. *click* Then I’m reading my friend’s friend’s blog. Oooooo hey a link *click* and then we’re at so and so’s blog who is my friend’s friend’s sister. She’s got pretty colorful ads, *click* and then about an hour and five hundred clicks later, I’m at the friend’s friend’s sister’s lover’s friend’s publisher’s wife’s lover’s ringleader’s brother’s friend’s website wondering what the hell got me there in the first place. …My boyfriend wonders where the hell I find all this stuff. At this point, I’m not so sure myself…
After typing the word friend that many times, I feel like I’m spelling it wrong.
Moral of the Story:
I really really like people referring me here and there and then giving me a link to click, but sometimes it can be distracting. Sometimes we forget to go back to the blog we were reading before we started the click-a-thon. (Or maybe that’s just something psychotic that I do.)
